Invitation to Quote for Passport to Export Client Acquisition
Client Acquisition:
You are invited to submit a quotation for the provision of qualified appointments for companies to subsequently sign up to the UKTI Passport to Export service
Geographical Area:
The operational area of the South West region encompasses the counties of, Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and the Bristol area
Contract Duration:
The contract will commence as soon as possible after contract award (1st June 2013) and will end on 31st December 2013
Primary activity:
Your activity would be to identify potential Passport to Export clients, to contact these clients in respect of engaging them with the Passport to Export service and to make First Appointments for our International Trade Advisers
Targets:
We ask you to identify how many appointments you will provide for the contract value and that you identify how many appointments you believe you will need to generate to achieve 100 Passport to Export sign ups before the end of March 2014 with reference to your previous experience.
Databases:
A data base of leads will be provided by Business West which will need to be de-duped against the UKTA CDMS prior to engagement with potential clients. The successful delivery partner will also be expected to provide a database of potential leads which will need to be de-duped against the UKTI CDMS prior to engagement with potential clients.
Price:
We ask that you provide a price per first appointment for our International Trade Adviser teams. The total price of this contract will not exceed £9,995
Quotation Evaluation:
Your quotation will be evaluated upon the following criteria
- Perceived ability to deliver quality leads
- Capability and capacity to deliver the quantity of quality leads
- Value for money

Exploring the possibility of replacing existing, unconnected telephone system throughout the Business West offices
Business West is exploring the possibility of replacing a number of existing, unconnected telephone systems that are currently in use throughout our offices.
Technology developments, coupled with a desire to work more flexibly and cost-efficiently provide ‘drivers’ to explore ways in which we can embrace changes in the world of communications. We wish to explore the feasibility and costs of implementing a single telephony solution, building on the network infrastructure and connectivity already in place where possible. The solution needs to be flexible enough to cater for changes in our property portfolio, scaled to 300 users but expandable to 500 users and beyond. We are interested in both ‘purchase’ and ‘rental’ options.
We initially request information from suppliers outlining their proposed solution. Details of what we now wish to procure can be found in the Invitation to Tender (ITT) Appendix 2.
