The work includes: · Meeting passengers with our vehicle at a central meeting point and if necessary transferring balloon equipment, pilot and passengers to the local launch site. · Assisting the pilot with the rigging and inflating of the Hot Air Balloon prior to flight. · Providing ground crew flight support, normally by means of a 4x4 Land Rover or other vehicle and trailer. · Packing up of the Balloon after the flight, assisting the pilot and passengers in loading balloon and basket after the flight and transporting equipment, pilot and passengers from landing site to original meeting place. · The post-flight display and selling of ballooning related merchandise. · Giving out Promotional leaflets for Bailey Balloons at Launch Sites. · Taking care of passengers prior to and after flights. · Keeping vehicle tidy and ensuring all radios and maps are returned to retrieve bag post flight. · Helping with refuelling when necessary.
