The South West Chambers of Commerce
The South West Chambers of Commerce are a
network of all 132 Chambers (large and small) located across the
seven counties of the South West Region of England. Together,
this network embraces over 10,000 businesses who between them have
some 350,000 employees, thus providing the economic welfare for at
least 500,000 people (equating to 10% of the entire population of
the region).
The South West Chambers of Commerce (SWCC) network was
established in 1998 as a collaborative venture. It is
currently operating under a three-year Business Plan to 2010, which
has sought to clarify and strengthen both the role and modus
operandi of the grouping. The plan also sets out the SWCC's
constituent structure and its objectives for the immediate and
medium term future. For further information visit South West
Chambers Online.
