A fundraising evening at the ARRC is taking place on Thursday 21st June in aid of Maggies Caring Cancer Centre in Cheltenham and Alabaré Homes for Veterans in Gloucester. This evening of multinational drinks and canapes is taking place in the ARRC Officers' Mess in Innsworth between 1900-2100hrs.
Now that the ARRC are safely home from Afghanistan after a long year’s tour, they are keen to integrate themselves fully into the community by showing not only their cooking skills, but that they are grateful for the care and support that they have received during that difficult period. To this end, the AOWA (ARRC Officers’ Wives Association) are preparing canapés and drinks specific to their country of origin so you can come and eat and imbibe your way around the NATO countries that they represent whilst listening to The Band of the Gloucestershire Constabulary.
Tickets cost just £25 per person and are limited to just 300 in number. Please do go and support them and more importantly, the incredibly worthwhile charities that will benefit from a wonderful evening.
Cheques should be made payable to Central Bank ARRC Support Battalion and the tickets are available from:
