How can economic growth be aligned with the needs to the
environment?
We take long term economic sustainable
growth very seriously. We will continue to encourage business to
consider its approach to climate change, waste, energy use, flood
risk, sustainable construction and the development of truly
sustainable communities - not just to save the planet but to help
the bottom line. We will remain at the heart of the debate, asking
difficult questions, but also offering creative solutions and
inspiring the private, public and voluntary sectors to work
together.
