Representation

Business West takes a leading
role in a number of key partnerships
linking the public and private sectors. We engage in these to help
produce solutions which benefit the whole community and to ensure
plans for growth are ambitious enough to meet the needs of
business.
We also represent the interests of
all our members on a range of strategic and
local bodies. For example, we have seats on the West of England
Partnership and Local Strategic Partnerships across our area. All
of these provide an important platform for us to ensure the voice
of business is heard in strategic decision making.
Consultation
In addition we work hard to ensure
your voice is heard in relation to all major consultation processes
affecting our region:
- we host consultation meetings for
members
- we respond to local, regional and
national consultations on a range of key issues
- we hold online polls to seek members’
views on key strategic issues we provide regular information
updates and briefing notes for members
