Calling all business leaders - West of England LEP needs you!

The West of England Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) supports business growth and is working to attract new jobs to Bristol, Bath, Weston-super-Mare, South Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas.

They’re currently recruiting senior business leaders to help shape the economic future of the region as members of the LEP board. In particular, they want to hear from business leaders who are inspirational, influential and have the credibility to champion the West of England at a regional, national and international level.

Candidates will have a career background in the region's key industries, including:

  • Aerospace and advanced engineering
  • Digital creative and high tech
  • Law, finance and insurance
  • Infrastructure (planning, housing, transport, digital)
  • Skills
  • Business growth and innovation
  • Health

Please note that all business roles are voluntary and candidates will be required to attend LEP board meetings, of which there are six per year.
