Designed to support potential and new entrepreneurs, this in-depth workshop will help you to create and develop a robust, investment-ready business plan and financial forecast.
You will receive a copy of the templates that will tick the right boxes with investors and lenders and there is an opportunity to network with like-minded people and discuss your business goals in a supportive environment.
You will also be offered a one-to-one meeting with a business adviser, which usually takes place one month after the workshop, to discuss your business plan and help with your start-up loan application. This workshop also includes a buffet lunch.
Key areas covered in this one-day workshop include:
- Producing a robust business plan
- Branding and marketing
- Sourcing finance
- Managing cash flow, profit and loss, and book keeping
- Creating sales projections
“The business planning workshop helped me look at my business from the outside, as a business owner this can be difficult as you get lost in the day-to-day running of the business and struggle to do the important things. I would definitely recommend this workshop to anyone that has started a business or is thinking of starting one.
The workshop gave me some great ideas about ways to structure our business plan what we need to be focusing on. The advice on finance and how to carry out a cash flow forecast correctly was also useful, and I took away a lot of tips on what to look at when marketing our business, defining what it is we offer, and identifying strengths and weaknesses that I didn’t even realise we had.” - Dave Keay, K.P Garage & Bodyshop
