Business Skills Workshops

Our Skills West team is running a series of Business Skills Workshops throughout Autumn 2018. These workshops will cover topics from recruitment and flexible working to apprenticeships for SMEs and developing your workforce.

These workshops will be taking place across the West of England and are open to businesses from any sector or industry.

Diversifying your recruitment; unlocking the workforce

Hosted by Skills West and led by Kristal McNamara, Director at Flexology, this workshop aims to arm attendees with the knowledge and skills they need to improve their recruitment and fill skills gaps within their business. The workshop will cover flexible working, diversity within recruitment and more.

The Diversifying your recruitment; unlocking the workforce workshops have now finished. You can still book on to our other two workshops below!

How to find the hidden talent in your business

Victoria Chidgey and Rachel Pook from Atoll HR will be sharing their insights into finding the hidden talent within your business, staff retention and how to reduce the costs of recruitment. Attendees will learn new skills through real life case studies and practical activities. This event is perfect for SMEs who don’t currently have a development plan, struggle to recruit or retain staff and want to reduce the cost of recruitment.
