Marmalade of London opens a new distribution centre, taking on more than 70 sales reps on the East Coast of the United States.
Marmalade of London, a Cheltenham home fragrance and candle manufacturer, has topped off its success in North America by opening a new distribution centre, taking on more than 70 sales reps up and down the East Coast of the United States.
The business first expanded into the United States last year, after a Department for International Trade (DIT) grant enabled it to attend the NY Now trade show, where it secured more than $1m worth of contracts with distributors. The new contracts doubled the firm’s annual turnover and resulted in the hiring of 10 new members of staff in the UK to keep up with growing demand.
Marmalade of London’s new distribution centre will now make shipping orders across North America simpler and faster, and act as a hub to drive further growth in the region.

The business continues to work with DIT and will be attending two major US trade shows this summer with the hope of growing business in the region even further.
