Plimsoll Productions currently employs 76 people and joined Bristol Chamber of Commerce at Business West as a start-up in 2014. Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder Christine Owen explains why Chamber membership was right for them:
“When setting up we wanted as much advice as we could lay our hands on!
“Business West were helpful in pointing us in the right direction in terms of practical business support.
”You can’t have too much advice!”
Less than two years later, Business West helped Plimsoll Productions fulfil their international ambitions and expand stateside.
Prior to establishing their US office just off the famous Santa Monica Boulevard in Hollywood, CA, Business West advised Plimsoll on how to structure their corporate operations and put them in contact with people that could help.
So successful was their expansion into the USA that in 2016 Plimsoll Productions managed to win the High Business of the Year Award at the British Chamber of Commerce Awards.
