Forest of Dean Bank of England Breakfast Briefing - May 2025
Join Business West and event sponsor Thrings for The Bank of England's South West Monetary Policy Report Briefing.
Open to Chamber members and businesses from the local business community, this event will give you the chance to hear the latest updates from The Bank of England's Monetary Policy report, with a special focus on the Agri-tech and farming industry.
Malindi Myers, Agent for the Bank of England’s Agency for the South West, will cover the Bank’s latest analysis and forecasts on GDP and demand, the labour market, inflation, and the monetary policy response. Attendees will gain insights into how these economic factors specifically impact the Agri-tech and farming sectors, and will have the opportunity to contribute to discussions that will feed into the Monetary Policy Committee’s decisions on interest rates.
This event is particularly relevant for Agri-tech innovators, farmers, and agribusinesses looking to understand the economic landscape and its implications for their industry. There will also be ample opportunities for networking with other attendees from across the three chamber networks, fostering connections within the Agri-tech and farming communities.
