Future Skills - Talent Management - Succession and Progression with Apprenticeships
Recruitment and selection of the right individuals is important for the ongoing profitability of the business, but if you could build talent through the existing workforce, wouldn’t that make more sense?
Talent management is an effective way to utilise your best asset – your people, developing internal resource, ensuring business continuity and fostering positive engagement as a result.
Victoria Chidgey from Clever HR will join us at this breakfast workshop to help us explore succession plans and the benefit that developing your existing staff and talent management can bring to your business. Victoria has over 20 years of HR experience in the UK, Europe and Australia and prides herself on working in partnership to solve and provide HR solutions.
Apprenticeships can also be used to support the personal development of your existing staff and there is funding available to support with the costs. We will dicsuss how apprenticeships can support with succession planning and the growth aspirations of your business.
There will also be a chance for you, as employers, to share your views. We’ll be asking the following questions through brief, facilitated round table discussions:
- What are the barriers for your businesses when it comes to building talent within your existing workforce?
- Are there sufficient progression paths, from entry level though to higher level qualifications to support the development of staff?
- What is missing?
Please note: This event is for West of England (Bristol, Bath & North East Somerset, South Gloucestershire & North Somerset) professional and financial businesses only.Places are limited. We may only be able to offer one place per organisation/training provider.
