Idea Development, Business Planning and Finance
This workshop is for anyone who has an exciting business idea and isn’t sure how to turn it into a reality…
You may already have a business, but you might need some help with business and financial planning… let’s face it, the last couple of years have been tough for everyone, especially small business owners! Why not take some time out of your business to do some strategic planning, with expert business advisors to guide you, to analyse what your business needs to help it grow to its full potential?
What will I learn?
The workshop will focus on:
- Exploring your idea, how to analyse your idea in more detail, the advantages, and disadvantages and considering sustainability in your business.
- Identifying what support networks are available to you, such as family, friends, and local support, to help you get your business off the ground.
- Considering your green environmental values and impact of your business and how to introduce those into your business from the very start.
- Outline of a business plan
- Sales, Cashflow, Profit/Loss, Forecasting
- Start-up costs
- Next steps to take on your business journey
What will I take away?
By the end of the workshop, you’ll understand what research you need to do to make your idea a business reality and how to develop your idea beyond just a concept. In addition, you will have a solid introduction to business planning and financial forecasting. You’ll take away the knowledge and tools to put together your own comprehensive business plan and be able to outline your expected financials. This will help you to pitch for finance to help start your business or gain investments in a new project.
