Lunch and Learn: B Corp – How, Why and Who?
B Corp – How, Why and Who?
You’re invited to join us at the first in our exciting series of lunch and learn events, to find out more about how your company can become a certified B Corporation, what is involved in the process and the benefits it could bring.
B Corp is a certification that is growing in popularity and shows businesses that “meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability to balance profit and purpose.” B Corp Certification doesn’t just evaluate a product or service; it assesses the overall positive impact of the company that stands behind it, which is increasingly what people care most about. Having just become a certified B Corp as Business West, we now want to help others find out more.
At this lunchtime, virtual event you will have the opportunity to hear from three different speakers,
- Business West Chamber member, Andy Hawkins from Business on Purpose,
- Business West Chamber members, Future Shift
- Jessica Valentine and Sam Shinner from Business West.
Hear about their different experiences of the B Corp process, what the certification means and how to embed it into your company, whilst also having the chance to ask questions and join discussions around the topic.
During this 45 minute session, we will explore the B Corp certification, providing you with relevant information, different experiences and advice, so you can decide whether being a B Corporation is for you and your business.
