Calling all businesses who want to invest in the future workforce of Swindon...
Have you recruited young people or are looking to recruit in the future?
Are you looking to fill apprenticeship or job vacancies?
Do you want to raise the benefits of apprenticeships to young people?
Then attending JobFest is for you!

It’s a great chance to meet a lot of prospective employees in a short period of time and promote your business to them.

College students who will be looking for apprenticeships or employment from June 2018.

The general public.
Is the event free as per the Eventbrite ticket or is it chargeable?
The event is chargeable for businesses, an invoice will be raised to your organisation. Registering to this event is your commitment to pay the attendance fee.
I am a charity, I can't afford to pay. Can I come?
There are a few funded places available for charities. Please do talk to us about this. Either call us on 01635 279900 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
I'm an apprenticeship training provider. Can I come?
If you are promoting apprenticeship opportunities, then yes, of course you can come. We have a limited number of places available for training providers, once this allocation is full we will have a training provider waiting list. We will notify you after registration that the waiting list is in use.
Why does anyone need to pay, why is it not free for everyone?
Swindon Borough Council are funding the majority of this event, but not the whole amount. In order to be able to put on an event like this for our local young people, we do need to raise a small amount of income to cover the remainder of the costs. The event last year cost £150+VAT=£180. This year the event is £175.
I'm currently not recruiting, but will be in a few month's time. Can I come?
Yes of course you can, please bring along details of the areas that you might be recruiting in so that you can give young people details about what you will be looking for.
I'm not directly recruiting but represent a business sector that is always recruiting. Can I come?
Yes of course you can. Please bring details of Swindon organisations in your sector who do recruit locally, to promote these to the young people who attend.
What time can I set up from?
We will send all registered attendees more details by email a little closer to the time. We will include more detailed joining instructions and cover the location on site facilities available to all exhibitors, staff passes, parking and refreshment details.
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There will be parking available at the outlet village but you will be able to park at STEAM to set up. More details will be provided to you nearer the time.
What can I bring into the event?
Please bring materials that will help engage young people to promote your organisation, along with any live job or apprenticeship vacancies you have available.
How can I contact the organiser with any questions?
Please email email@example.com if you have any questions.
