We know how important it is for businesses of all sizes to support the mental wellbeing of their staff, especially with the last couple of years being turbulent and stressful for many people, and often times the approach of line managers is a crucial factor in creating a positive or negative wellbeing culture at work.
With this in mind, we are delighted to bring you our upcoming Swindon Mindful Employer Network event, in partnership with Swindon & Gloucestershire Mind and Swindon Borough Council, to help managers improve workplace wellbeing and culture and explore the importance of self-awareness for healthy communication.
What will be covered?
During the event you will hear from Rosie Runciman and Tim Thurston about the importance of line managers in creating a positive workplace culture. They’ll be discussing the behaviours and mindsets that can help or hinder your team, and will provide you with a toolkit of suggestions that you can implement after the session.
You’ll also have the chance to hear from Suzanne Baxter from Swindon & Gloucestershire Mind. She’ll be highlighting the importance of self-awareness and listening deeply to yourself and others without creating assumptions or judgements to promote healthy communication.
