The export accelerator programme for UK retail brands looking to enter the US market.
We are looking for the best retail brands from across the South West of England to take part in the Retail Lab, an intensive programme of international trade support provided by The Department for International Trade (DIT).
The programme will take scale-up businesses with high growth potential and catapult them into the $4 trillion US market.
Through a series of educational modules, participants will gain the knowledge needed to succeed in the US market. The programme will conclude with the opportunity to be listed on a trusted Stateside B2B platform at a heavily reduced rate, ONLY available through this programme.
Once listed, this platform will give businesses the potential to reach 10,000 buyers within retail giants such as Walmart, Target, CVS, Wholefoods, Bed Bath and Beyond to name a few.
The Retail Lab is a modular business support programme that addresses the biggest challenges UK retail businesses face when trying to enter and grow in the US market.

The programme is devised and led by Ameeta Virk - Growth Markets Leader, US, Nigel Baker - Digital Trade Advisor and Emma Jones - International Trade Advisor and Retail Sector Specialist and brings together an unrivalled faculty of retail and market experts that will ensure your business is States Ready.
Who can apply
The Retail Lab is only open to applications from retail businesses based in the South West of England region.
Spaces are limited and will favour those that either already have a presence in the US market and are seeking to expand, or experienced exporters with a clear propensity to enter and scale in the US market.

The closing date for applications is strictly 5pm on Thursday, 3 June 2021.
Successful applicants will participate in an intensive week of virtual content commencing on 21 June 2021.
Modules will be broken down across each day and will take place between 1 - 6pm UK time. Recordings of each session will be made available for those who cannot make the live events.
