87% of scale-up companies would grow faster if it were easier to develop their leaders through effective business coaching.
There's strong evidence that good coaching can accelerate business growth.
A survey carried out by Manchester Inc. found the average return on investment to be almost six times the cost of coaching, and a report from the Personal Management Association showed that productivity increased by 86% when training was combined with coaching, compared to just 22% when training was carried out without a coach.
But getting the right mentoring skills to support your growth can be expensive, especially when cash flow is tight and time is limited.

How to Get Started
Contact us to receive your grant application form where you can tell us all about your business and why you require a grant. Applicants are also invited to sit down with our scale-up adviser to run through the scale-up criteria and discuss whether your business has the potential to become a high growth business with the right support. This will also be an opportunity to find out about the other grant schemes and support available to you.
It’s helpful if you have a business coach in mind you'd like to work with but this is not a pre-requisite for applying. Our advisors can't recommend a specific coach or training provider, but they can suggest resources which will help you make a decision.
The programme will run for 3 years between April 2018 and April 2021 and is supported by the European Regional Development Fund.
