Andrews was founded in 1946, we’re unique within the property world as we’re charity owned, by Andrews Charitable Trust. Our founder, Cecil Jackson Cole, was a philanthropist and entrepreneur who used his business success to fund transformative social initiatives. He was pivotal in the founding of numerous well-known charities including Oxfam, Help the Aged (Age UK) and Action Aid. Today, we proudly carry on his legacy, using business as a force for good.
Andrews Charitable Trust (ACT) provide funding to a range of charities and organisations with a key focus on housing and poverty, both in the UK and globally. In Bristol, they partner with 1625 Independent People on the [establish] project. This ACT project provides high quality, safe, and affordable housing to vulnerable young people at risk of homelessness, helping them grow into fully independent adults.
