With the increase in utility bills affecting the running of our businesses premises, attention is turning to reduce overheads and make our businesses greener.
- Research from the Centre for Economics & Business Research (CEBR) found that business costs rose by 3.2 per cent over the last 12 months – faster than the rate of inflation for UK households
- According to the Carbon Trust, twenty per cent of a typical business’s annual energy costs could be wasted on energy-inefficient equipment
- And Water2Business reports that toilets account for up to 90% of water use for offices and public conveniences
Through making a few changes to the bathroom and plumbing facilities within your business premises, you’ll save both water and energy, which will in turn lead to financial savings on your business overheads.
