Conveniently located on the Lydiard Fields Business Park next to the junction 16 of the M4, as well as being a short drive away from Swindon town centre and Royal Wootton Bassett, our Swindon serviced offices provide easy access to a range of facilities, from banks and shops, to gyms and parks. Need somewhere to kill time on your lunchbreak? Maybe you want to find a place to carry out team building activities and fun socialising events for your employees? Here are 5 of the best locations you can reach within approximately 5 minutes of our serviced offices in Swindon…

1. Lydiard Park (SN5 3PA)

Just a 5-minute drive away from our Kingston House serviced offices, Lydiard Park is the perfect place to visit during a sunny lunchbreak. With 260 acres of lawns, woodlands, lakes, and pasture being open to the public between 7:30am and dusk every day, marvel at the gorgeous scenery as you go for a run, walk or bike ride down one of the park’s many accessible paths, or set-up a picnic with your team on a day with particularly nice weather. In fact, you can also hire a BBQ on-site for this very purpose! If picnics aren’t your thing (or the weather has taken a turn for the worst), you can also choose to relax in the park’s café or Tea Rooms.

2. Mannington Retail Park (SN5 8WA)

Another 5-minute drive from our serviced offices in Swindon, Mannington Retail Park is ideally located if you need to run errands after work or you simply want to do a spot of lunchtime shopping! With its Next Home and John Lewis at Home stores, there’s plenty to look at if you want a quick browse or you need to pick a few things up for your home, while the convenient addition of Marks & Spencer Simply Food means you can also grab a quick lunch on the go, or even do your weekly food shop if you have a bit more time available.

3. West Swindon Shopping Centre (SN5 7DL)

Like Mannington Retail Park, West Shopping Centre is a great place to visit if you need to run errands from your journey to or from work, or even on your lunchbreak. As well as being a short drive away from our Swindon serviced offices, the shopping centre has almost 1,000 free parking spaces available, making it quick and easy to pop in and out when you have a limited amount of time or loose change on hand. To pick up something for your lunch or to do a quick food shop, head straight to ASDA. Alternatively, nip into Costa Coffee for a coffee on the go, or even McDonalds or the Harvester for a sit-down lunch with your workmates. There’s also a Martin’s Newsagents, a Post Office, Halifax and Natwest banks, and a low-priced petrol station located ideally on-site!

4. Link Centre Trampoline Park, Gym, and Ice Rink (SN5 7DL)

Situated just a few minutes’ walk from the West Swindon Shopping Centre (and a quick drive from our Kingston House offices), the Link Centre is a great option if you want to fit ‘getting fit’ into your working day. With its gym being open between 6:30am and 10:00pm Monday to Thursday (and 6:15am and 9:00pm on Fridays), you can easily slot in a quick gym session before or after work, or even take advantage of the gym’s facilities in your lunchbreak. These include over 140 fitness stations, as well as a swimming pool and a number of fitness classes. Its bookable sports pitches, Ice Rink and Extreme Trampoline Park are also good options for organising fun team-building activities and socialisers with a twist!

5. Laser Quest Swindon (SN5 7DN)

It might not seem like the typical venue you’d visit during your working day, but Laser Quest is ideal if you want to put a unique spin on your office’s team-building activities! Not only is it easy to reach by car from our serviced offices in Swindon, but it offers a range of packages to suit the needs of your team, including packages for adults and large groups. In fact, Laser Quest can accommodate for up to 45 people for a 1 hour session, and up to 90 people for a two-hour session, if needed.
