The Business Challenge at the Simplyhealth Great Bristol 10k will return to the city streets on Sunday 5 May inspiring employees to get out of the workplace and into their trainers.

The Business Challenge has firmly become an annual fixture in the calendar of local businesses, taking place as part of the iconic city centre running event which sees more than 13,000 people run, jog or walk their way through Bristol.

With the Business Challenge available at both the 10k and again in September at the Simplyhealth Great Bristol Half Marathon, last year saw over 1,100 work colleagues from 82 different organisations on the start line of their respective events in a bid to be crowned Bristol’s fastest business and this year is shaping up to be just as popular again.

But it’s not all about the bragging rights with many companies using the Business Challenge as an opportunity to encourage a healthy outlook for staff, engage in some team building and focus on charity fundraising for their chosen good cause.

Companies can enter male, female or mixed teams of 4-8 runners to compete for the trophy awarded to the fastest small, medium and large businesses across the categories. There are different prize categories and all businesses that enter 12 or more people into the event will receive their own personalised company engraved plaque.
