Bishop Fleming Announces Southmead Hospital As Charity Partner

The Bristol and Bath offices of Bishop Fleming, a leading audit, accounting, tax, and advisory firm, is pleased to announce its partnership with Southmead Hospital Charity as its chosen charity for the next 12 months.

Bishop Fleming's decision to support Southmead Hospital Charity reflects its commitment to being a responsible business and making a positive impact in the local community. In collaboration with Business in the Community, Bishop Fleming has developed a structured framework that helps the firm better understand its role and responsibilities in the community. This effort has resulted in its latest re-accreditation of being a Great Place to Work®.

The partnership with Southmead Hospital Charity will help Bishop Fleming and its employees to engage in meaningful community activities and contribute to a cause that aligns with its ambition and values.

This year, Bishop Fleming, has launched a major new responsible business initiative – 1% for Communities – a pledge to give back 1% of its turnover through impactful, community-focused volunteering, fundraising and related activities.

The firm plans to raise £20,000 for the charity, through initiatives including a quiz evening, bake sales, sporting events such as the London Marathon, and a bungee jump! The funds raised will directly support Southmead Hospital Charity’s efforts to fund pioneering research and equipment, and fund projects which develop and support staff to help them deliver exceptional healthcare.
