The Bristol Hippodrome is pleased to confirm Somerset outlet shopping centre Clarks Village will be sponsoring its 2019 pantomime Dick Whittington, which stars soap legend Shane Richie in the title role.
The partnership between the theatre and Clarks Village - which is home to more than 90 designer and high street brands - will build on the success of last year’s production of Cinderella which was seen by more than 80,000 people, making it the theatre’s most successful pantomime to date.
Qdos Entertainment, the largest producer of pantomimes in the world, is again bringing the magic of pantomime to Bristol with its production of Dick Whittington. The show features sets and costumes from the London Palladium production and more star casting is set to be revealed in the coming weeks.
In a bid to reach a wider family audience in Bristol and the surrounding area, The Bristol Hippodrome and Clarks Village will work together on a range of exciting projects, including Dick Whittington ticket competitions, fundraising initiatives and meet-and-greet opportunities. Clarks Village will also be supporting a number of assisted performances of Dick Whittington, which cater for customers with additional needs.

Although the streets might not literally be paved with gold all the way to The Bristol Hippodrome, we are certain that by working with the team we’ll be able to bring some magical performances that all ages will treasure for years to come.”
