So here we are a year into the Greyfly journey. One of the things we always do when meeting a new client that is looking to grow is to undertake a business risk assessment. This has helped us to identify an aggregated view of the common risks that prevent business growth.

Actually, when you undertake project risk management techniques, what it really does is also allow you to prioritise risks so you can utilise your valuable time to “Do the Right things at the Right time!” So, for some time, we have been wondering how we could share this valuable knowledge with others whilst improving the quality of the information in the first place? This thought coupled with our love of modern technology lead to the development of our little machine learning-based system.

We have now launched a system that in just a few minutes allows executives to appraise their company and generate their own business risk assessment. This assessment is based on both their view of their company but also compares to the benchmark data created from all of those that have previously completed the assessment. It is already showing great results and allowing executives to prioritise their time but better still, the more people that complete the assessment the more enhanced the benchmark becomes!

Don’t worry, for those soothe sawyers amongst you, we have built in numerous checks and balances to make sure we are truly creating a valuable knowledge base and not the case of garbage in and out. I hear you still wondering why do I need to conduct a business risk assessment in my business? Well here are a few further obvious benefits to doing so:

  • OPERATIONAL FOCUS: Risk management will provide you the insight to identify which tasks your company should be prioritising
  • REDUCED RISK: While it might sound silly, but if your business understands its risks it will reduce its risk of failure
  • IMPROVED EFFICIENCY: When risks are mitigated and barriers eliminated this will in turn boost efficiency

I know some of you might question whether this is suitable for you company. Well this business risk assessment provides value to not only executives, but also founders and directors of companies looking to grow. So why not spare the less than 10 minutes it takes to complete your risk assessment? However [yes there is always a but!], I hope you understand, the one thing we haven’t done is to share with you the specific ways to manage the key risks you identify…this is also something we are building through knowledge and practise.

For you to obtain the fast track to this information you will need to either attend one of our regular training seminars or you will have to get in touch to discuss how Greyfly can support your company’s growth….
