Q:What's your top tip for someone who's thinking about selling on Amazon?
Do your research into your niche first and think about building your brand and getting a Trademark to provide a clear USP.
Q:Do you think Amazon is a threat to traditional brick and mortar retail?
Yes and no, Amazon is investing in Amazon Go stores. Traditional retail needs to think more 'omnichannel' and providing multi-channel fulfilment e.g. Click and Collect to compete. Q:What are the main benefits of selling products on Amazon as opposed to other platforms such as eBay? The Fulfilment model on Amazon (for now) is superior and the advertising (including DSP) is extremely powerful.
Q: What's your top tip for someone who is just starting to sell on Amazon and someone who is trading for a few years?
If you have been selling for a while, protect your position with solid customer service (Seller rating), encourage reviews and invest in content to increase conversion. Protect your branded search with sponsored brands.
