The Grand Appeal, the dedicated charity for the Bristol Children’s Hospital, has the chance to win up to £100,000 to support the refurbishment of the ward where incredibly brave children receive chemotherapy. To win, we need your votes.

The charity has reached the final of the Persimmon Homes Building Futures campaign, which offers prizes of £100,000, £50,000 and £20,000 to a variety of amazing causes. The cause with the most votes wins, so we now need your help to make a difference to the lives of these young cancer patients.

Bristol Children’s Hospital has two wards that care for children fighting cancer - Starlight Ward and Ocean Unit. While patients will stay overnight on Starlight Ward for as long as they need, cancer patients will visit Ocean Unit for any treatment that is less than 10 hours long.

Whether they need chemotherapy, day surgery or support for a cancer-related condition or after a bone marrow transplant, the amazing Ocean team will be on hand to help children as they face often long and difficult treatments for their cancer. The unit is home to 10 bed spaces for these patients.

As the dedicated Bristol Children’s Hospital Charity, it is our mission to make the children’s hospital the very best it can be. Knowing what a difference it would make to the nearly 400 patients cared for by Ocean Unit each year, we want to transform the unit into a comforting, modern space, decorated with eye-catching, sea-themed artwork, complete with updated facilities.

Help us, help them - it just takes one click to vote here and help brave children battling cancer https://www.persimmonhomes.com/building-futures/finalist/wallace-gromits-grand-appeal-5234

TOP TIP: You can vote every day until 18th September. One touch of a button to vote will make a difference, multiple votes is transformational.

Please note that only one vote per day is accepted per IP address. This means if someone has already voted that day using your shared network at home or work, you will need to use a different IP address for additional votes – either using your mobile phone, home broadband or using wifi while you are out and about.

We appreciate any support you can give to help us receive this incredible amount of money. As well as voting, if you can share the link above with colleagues, family, friends or on social media channels we would be incredibly grateful.
