For the first time in 130 years of trading, income protection mutual Wiltshire Friendly Society Limited (Wiltshire Friendly) based in Trowbridge,Wiltshire has launched a social media offering for members.

“Our members are at our core and we are constantly looking at ways to engage with existing members and attract new members. Social media was a clear evolution for us” said Jon Gratland, CEO of Wiltshire Friendly.
Within this new social media offering, the Society is championing the hashtag #WFLoveRugby to extend the online conversation beyond income protection to one of its key markets.
“Aligning the Society to rugby via social media was an obvious choice. We have a dedicated professional rugby product, and products also for semi-professional and amateur players, and it gives us plenty of opportunity to demonstrate the Society’s genuine love of the game and to join the rugby conversation” said Jon Gratland, CEO of Wiltshire Friendly.
In addition to reaching out to existing members and potential new members via social media, the Society has re-launched its website to support its digital journey.
