The Great Bristol 10k and Half Marathon are annual events in the national running calendar, staged by Great Run, the UKs biggest mass participation events company. The running events return to the streets of Bristol on Sunday 19 September, for an action-packed weekend of running. For the first time the 10k and Half Marathon events will take place on the same day, along with the Junior event. The event is famous for the buzzing atmosphere & crowd support, beautiful route along the Avon Gorge, and iconic music and entertainment zones providing the soundtrack to the run. Tens of thousands take part every year making this a must do event with an atmosphere second to none. The Engie Business Challenge at the Great Bristol Run encourages local businesses to compete against each other on the iconic city centre course, to be crowned champions. There are different categories for Small, Medium and Large sized businesses, as well as Male, female and mixed teams, ensuring it's a level playing field for each business. It’s a great opportunity for each individual organisation to encourage a healthy outlook for staff, engage in all-important team building after many have been working in isolation from home, and focus on charity fundraising for their chosen good cause.
