The Bristol Hippodrome, the city’s West End theatre, is offering theatre lovers the opportunity to become part of one of Bristol’s most iconic venues by appearing on its Stairway of Stars.
The theatre, which welcomes more than 500,000 patrons every year, has established itself on the touring circuit for all major musical productions. Following the unprecedented demand from patrons, supporters and performers looking to purchase its historic auditorium seats last summer, The Bristol Hippodrome is excited to offer people another chance to ally themselves with the building.
Just over 300 theatre goers will have the opportunity to see their names on personalised black and gold plaques, mounted proudly on the Stairway of Stars in the theatre’s grand foyer for all to admire over the next two years.
As part of the package, recipients will also receive a behind the scenes tour for two people, as well as a replica miniature plaque and a commemorative certificate in a beautiful bespoke presentation folder.
The limited edition plaques will be sold on a first come first serve basis, and after two years recipients will have the chance of renewing their plaques or keeping them as a memento.
Jenny Hutchinson, Theatre Director at The Bristol Hippodrome says, “We wholeheartedly believe that you don’t have to be on stage to be a star, and our Stairway of Stars is a great way of showcasing this. Becoming a star of The Bristol Hippodrome is a fantastic way for theatre lovers to really make their mark on the theatre and show their support for the historic building.”
The personalised stars are available to buy online at ATGTICKETS.COM/Bristol or in The Bristol Hippodrome’s Box Office.
