Chamber Members are invited to pilot a new, online matchmaking platform to connect them with researchers and ideas across UK universities.
Businesses will be able to post requests for connections with academics, specifying the type of expertise required, the intended end result, and the duration of any partnership sought. Unlike other digital efforts to bridge the divide between the sectors, ‘Smarter’ requests will be seen, and responded to, by expert ‘knowledge brokers’ within universities, increasing the prospects for useful – and only useful – introductions being made.
