Bristol & the South West region is made up of a volunteer committee whose members arrange fund raising events Etc.
The charity was founded in America in 1924 and came to the UK in 1949. We are celebration our 70th Anniversary this year.
Variety helps improve the lives of Sick, Disabled and Disavantaged children by raising funds to purchase specialised wheelchairs ( including sports wheelchairs ), specialist equipment etc. We are perhaps more famous for supplying special schools, clubs etc. with “Sunsine Coaches”. These enable children to enjoy trips arranged by the schools, including trips to swimming lessons.
We cover the Counties of Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire, Bristol, Somerset, Devon and Cornwall.
