National Apprenticeship Week 3 - 9 February 2020

National Apprenticeship Week 2020

Look beyond, think beyond

This year’s National Apprenticeship Week will kick off on 3rd Feb and we're asking businesses across the region to ‘Look Beyond’ the dated stereotype of an apprentice and consider how an apprentice can be used to ‘Fire Up’ your business.

Apprenticeships are now an exciting option for both the apprentice and the business. Apprentices can be employed at any level up to a degree level (level 6) or masters degree level (level 7) with Phd level apprenticeships (level 8) currently in development. Apprentices can be of any age from school leavers to people that want to further their careers or change career direction completely and can already be working within your business.

Apprenticeships are being used in businesses of all sizes across the country to diversify their workforce, increase productivity and to grow talent and develop a motivated, skilled and qualified workforce.

As an employer you can get help with funding an apprentice from the government. So, have you explored how apprenticeships could be a solution to your recruitment or retention challenges or to fill current or future skills gaps?

Get in touch with our skills team today and we can answer any questions you have and we'll connect you with local and national training providers to make it easy for your business to get all the apprenticeship support it needs.
