United Communities is a dynamic community based housing association, committed to providing great homes and communities across the wider Bristol area. We are half way through our ambitious and innovative development programme, having just established a new repairs partnership, and we are transforming our customer service.
To help us achieve this and our vision of More Than Just a Roof we are looking for a talented, strategic thinking individual to join our Board. In particular, we would welcome applications from people with experience as a customer of social housing and/or knowledge and experience of managing successful customer services. We are also interested in hearing from others with a wide variety of backgrounds, who can help us to improve our services, contribute to setting our future direction and importantly help us make a positive contribution to solving the housing crisis.
You will have a skill set that is blended, balancing a strategic outlook with a pragmatic approach to delivery. With board and committee meetings your time commitment will equate to around 8 hours per month including preparation time and training and other events.
