The HoSW Export Trade Development Programme is a £916,000 ERDF funded project designed to support SMEs in the HoSW LEP area to overcome barriers to trade and improve their international trade performance.
It has been well designed, based on sound principles, compliments existing DIT delivery and utilises innovative delivery mechanisms to support SMEs. It is delivered by a highly experienced team and predicted an appropriate level of outputs. Delivery has been hampered by Covid-19 and to some extent, by EU Exit. Marketing activity was put on hold, and SME projects stalled as business owners focussed on survival.
This important support package remains as relevant now as it did during its inception – perhaps even more so – with International Trade one of the key facets of building resilience.
