Rural and food economy skills report 2017

Skills West has compiled a rural and food economy report in partnership with the West of England LEP, providing unique insight for businesses into skills development and the opportunities it presents in the sector. 

"Food and drink manufacturing productivity grew by 11% over the last 5 years compared to 0.5% for the whole economy." 

The report covers: an overview of rural and food economy skills in the West of England, key facts and statistics about skills in this sector, significant sector achievements from 3 organisations in the region and 5 core skills priorities and objectives for the industry.
