The Local Skills Improvement Fund (LSIF) enables further education providers across a geographic area to respond collectively to the priorities in the Local Skills Improvement Plans. It also provides investment in technical skills to better support the needs of the local labour market and wider economy and can be used on infrastructure, learning environments, teaching and more, to help improve training provision for the local area.
We delved into the key projects, such as the Eco House at Lackham, Tech Trowbridge and Green EV Workshop, and talked about the achievements and innovation that the LSIF fund has allowed, whilst showcasing how it is helping to drive skills forward in the local area.
