Apprentice, super CEO and entrepreneur’s godmother at South West Expo

19th June 2017

An apprentice, ‘super CEO’ and ‘entrepreneur’s godmother’ walk into a cavernous, brick-built industrial unit ready to face an audience of successful businesspeople.

While this might sound like the beginning of an episode of Dragon’s Den, it is, in fact, what visitors can expect at South West Expo Swindon on 29th June held at the historic STEAM museum and conference centre.

Organised by Business West and the Great British Expos Ltd. this year’s programme of business workshops and masterclasses is jampacked with entrepreneurial talent.

Starting bright and early at 9am, finalist of BBC’s ‘The Apprentice’, Richard Woods, will share how you too can bask in Lord Sugar’s entrepreneurial glory, and sprinkle some magic on your sales figures, by generating more leads online.

Richard’s tried and tested formula for generating ’30 leads in 30 days’ by harnessing the power of technology has seen his book become a bestseller.

Putting the super into superfoods is ‘Super CEO’ Julianne Ponan, who will give a 60 min social media masterclass at 10:15 am. Credited with turning around failing health foods business, Creative Nature, Julianne successfully overhauled the company’s flagging brand image and repositioned their products in a congested marketplace to turn a profit in two short years.

Creative Nature bars are now sold in retailers and supermarkets across the UK – a feat which has seen Julianne seen Julianne collect a long list of business accolades including a British Chambers of Commerce Award, so there can be no one out there better than Julianne to build your brand and get to the top.

Between 2pm-3pm, Alison Edgar aka ‘The Entrepreneur's Godmother’ is mentor to some of the UK’s most well-known entrepreneur’s, including a good few celebrities! An outgoing, highly organised and determined business woman with a passion for people and helping businesses grow, Alison will share her top 10 tips on how to successfully start, launch and grow a business.

Alison’s business tips are regularly featured in The Sunday Times, The Telegraph and The Mail on Sunday and the Guardian, so you can expect to takeaway a host of easily digestible tidbits to put you on the pathway to success.

Places at our paid workshops are limited so do not miss your chance to hear from top UK business leaders how you can be your very own dragon by booking here: http://www.greatbritishexpos.co.uk/southwest-expo-registration/
