Would you like the chance to talk to an experienced Skills Advisor about your business workforce needs and objectives, whilst feeding into the wider future skills strategy for your region?

As part of the Local Skills Improvement Plan for the West of England, we are providing businesses with a unique opportunity to have their say on their skills needs now, and in the future, to help shape education and training provision and ensure it aligns with business needs.

Come and meet with our LSIP Business Skills Advisor at Desklodge House, Redcliffe Way, Bristol on Thursday 16th May.

Book a 45 minute slot, grab a cuppa, whilst telling us about your business. Take the opportunity to discuss any skills challenges you are facing, gain information about resources and training solutions to boost your business and contribute towards informing the region's Local Skills Improvement Plan of post 16 provision needs.

Our specialist Skills Advisor can talk with you about your current and future workforce needs and connect you with local and national training providers to ensure you and your staff receive access to quality and responsive training.

We can help with:

  • People and skills needs
  • Access to the best and most relevant training providers
  • Advice on apprenticeships / apprenticeship levy
  • Advice on the best training solutions for your business
  • Guidance on upskilling your existing workforce
  • Support with internships and work experience
  • Low Carbon and green initiatives
  • Workplace culture and wellbeing

The LSIP works collaboratively with employers, training providers and local stakeholders to help create meaningful change. We want to make your input even more meaningful and useful by inviting you to take the opportunity of a skills clinic one to one appointment. Book your space now for an informal, impartial chat.

If you have any accessibility requirements for joining the session (visible or invisible), please do let us know directly at LSIP@businesswest.co.uk.
