SWIG Finance is celebrating a hat-trick of awards – all won at two separate events in Bristol during November.
The company scooped two awards – Investment Company of the Year and Professional Services (Regional) at The Business Desk’s South West Business Masters Awards, and the Social Sustainability Award at Future Leap’s Sustainable Business Awards.
The awards came after SWIG Finance announced record levels of impact lending in 2022/23, delivering over £14m to nearly 500 small businesses across the South West. This support helped create and secure over 1,000 jobs and generated £44.6m in social impact.
SWIG Finance is a non-profit company that supports viable small businesses with access to finance where the investment will aid growth and local community benefit.
Managing Director John Peters commented, ”SWIG has experienced strong growth over the last 5 years, and these award wins are a testament to the commitment and dedication of our team supporting small businesses with big aspirations in the South West.”
