Partner with The Grand Appeal and support our unique corporate Christmas campaign

We have the privilege of working with some of Bristol and the South West's best businesses, especially at Christmas. 

Partnering with The Grand Appeal can lead to several things:

• Inspiring and motivating your employees
• Enhancing your brand and reputation or your position as a socially responsible company

Most importantly, you can directly support the 100,000 sick babies and children receiving treatment at Bristol Children's Hospital every year.

This year, we're looking for companies who want to be a part of a unique event that brings smiles to those very children. 

Following a successful campaign in 2021, The Grand Appeal's 'Light Up Bristol Children's Hospital' display is back bigger and better this year, with much loved Gromit Unleashed characters and seasonal stars set to adorn the walls of the building in central Bristol. This year, organisations across Bristol and the South West will see more opportunities to get involved. We are calling on all businesses, large and small, to support us. The dazzling design will feature some of Aardman's most iconic characters – from Gromit to Shaun the Sheep and Feathers McGraw, as well as small, medium and large illuminated stars available to sponsor.  

Launching on Thursday 1 December, the lights will be switched on at dusk every day for all to see throughout December. Providing a spectacular festive light display for patients and their families as well as hospital staff, visitors, and everyone passing the iconic children's hospital building on Upper Maudlin Street.  

By sponsoring one of the illuminations on the hospital, businesses will have their company name placed outside of the hospital, displayed on a dedicated Grand Appeal webpage as a proud sponsor, and promoted across The Grand Appeal's social media channels. 

Sponsors from the business community are already lined up to support the Shine Bright campaign, including CAMB Machine Knives International, Rotec Hydraulics Ltd, LDC, Renishaw, Natracare, Osborne Clarke, RSK, Global Furniture Alliance, Smith Consult and Lansdown Place Wealth Management.  

Christmas is a magical time of year - a time for giving and sharing special moments with those you love. But sadly, many families at Bristol Children's Hospital will spend their Christmas far from home. As the dedicated charity for Bristol Children's Hospital, our special display brings some Christmas cheer to patients and their families at a time when they need it most.

The money raised from the campaign will support a range of vital services at the hospital:

• Provide families with a place to stay in one of our three family accommodation facilities
• Fund state-of-the-art equipment that saves lives
• Fund a programme of arts, music and play therapies to help young patients deal with the stresses and fears they face in hospital
