We have been involved with a number of residential projects recently, from retrofit and refurbishment to new build developments.

One of these recent projects is the Cotton Exchange in London, which involved the conversion and redevelopment of a dilapidated warehouse into thirty four loft style apartments. Our X-Clad system was used to provide insulation to the older property and is also a lightweight system which is easier to handle when installing on-site. Three different colour bricks were used to create an overall distinctive multi-coloured finish and the building has been given a new lease of life. You can find out more about the Cotton Exchange on the projects page of our website.

Another new project is a new build development on Leighton Road in London, by Freed Construction. Two new buildings are linked by a courtyard to provide a mix of apartments, maisonettes and duplexes, along with a commercial office space. We supplied our X-Clad system for the project and brick slips were sourced to fit in with the surrounding area, providing an attractive contemporary design. Leighton Road is also on our projects page. Norwood Road is another interesting residential development where existing floors above a ground floor retail unit were demolished in order to build nine new apartments above the store below. This was a particularly challenging project as the store was to remain trading during construction. Eurobrick’s lightweight P-Clad system helped to minimize disruption. Norwood Road is also on our projects page, along with a number of other residential projects we have been involved with.
