New College Swindon has gone through an exciting time of change since we merged with Swindon College in 2020 to become one College. Building on our combined strengths and specialisms to create a vibrant, high-performing and sustainable institution. Our vision is to be a beacon of academic and technical excellence for the region, delivering a single ‘Swindon curriculum’, closely aligned to learners’ aspirations and employer needs. Our expansive course offer sees us deliver qualifications and training opportunities for learners of all ages and abilities across our two main campuses; including GCSEs, A Levels, T Levels, vocational qualifications, higher education, apprenticeships, professional and business training, and leisure courses. New College Swindon was one of 12 colleges in the UK to have been given the go ahead from the Department of Education to launch an Institute of Technology at our North Star campus. This exciting new collaboration with local employers and universities, provides a state-of-the-art employer-led training facility delivering high level technical and digital skills training. With courses starting in September 2021, it specialises in Engineering, Manufacturing, Science, Health, Creative and Media, Digital, Computer Science, and Business Management.
