In today’s risk-averse world, you need to be able to demonstrate to stakeholders that you operate in a professional and compliant fashion. Increasingly, investors and regulators are also looking to see evidence that your business functions sustainably.

This doesn’t just relate to the way you operate. Your supply chain and the service providers you work with all need to conform to your model of professionalism and sustainability.

Building B2B Relationships

The key attributes a company must possess to build successful working relationships are good customer service, dependability, integrity, and transparency. The work we do as businesses will reflect upon the way our clients are perceived by their stakeholders – which can mean everyone from a customer to an investor and even a neighbour.

When choosing a service provider, it is important to understand the way that business operates. You must be certain not only that it functions in a way that conforms to your ethos, but also that it has been independently verified that it is operating to those standards.

There are many different types of pest control companies out there in the marketplace. Most will make claims about performance, environmental objectives, customer standards, etc., and many will subscribe to schemes that help to differentiate their service from their competitors. For a business operator looking to enter a B2B relationship with a pest control company, it can be a challenge to find the right fit.

Accreditations

Within the B2B community there are several accreditation schemes designed to help clients source the right service provider. I’m pleased to say Cleankill is accredited to all the major schemes, thereby giving our clients the confidence to know that, when they work with us, they are working with a company that operates to the highest standards of professionalism.

Altius Elite Vendor

I’m pleased to announce, we’ve just received our Altius Elite Vendor certification for the first time, placing us among a select group of service providers in the country. The audit that goes with this accreditation is particularly stringent and thorough, covering both our management and operational systems. It provides assurance to clients that, when they work with us, they know the right systems are in place to get the job done in the most efficient and effective manner.

As a company, we pride themselves on being proactive in forging workable partnerships with other blue-chip companies. We work alongside the client, assessing their individual needs and creating a tailored package that is effective without being wasteful.

Our solutions always use Exclusion, Restriction and Destruction (as a last resort). ‘Exclusion’ means our staff will begin by looking at where pests are entering a premises and make sure any entrance points are blocked. ‘Restriction’ means creating unfavourable conditions for pests and ‘destruction’ means the chemical and physical elimination of pests.

We work with the client to help them better manage any issues our surveyors have identified. The solutions can be very simple. For example, when cleaning large waste bins, people will often neglect to replace the drain stopper at the bottom of the bin. This will attract pests because they have easy access to the contents of the bin. The solution is simple and costs nothing – replace the cap.

Accreditation schemes, like Altius Elite Vendor, help customers find the right service provider. In the end, the ethos of your company must be reflected in the working practices of the businesses you employ.
