Meet the team - Bristol Initiative

As Director, Victoria leads the team in Bristol and plays a key role in representing the interests of the business community across the region. She leads Business West’s strategic engagement with both business and political leaders in our region, ensuring that the voice of Bristol’s business sector is heard where it matters most. Passionate about shaping forward-thinking policy, Victoria serves on influential boards and is instrumental in driving Business West’s mission to bring together businesses and communities with purpose and integrity – committed to building a region that is economically resilient, environmentally sustainable, and culturally vibrant.

Jenny works with our Initiative Members on a day-to-day basis. Her role is to help Members engage with the group and our activities, to get the most out of their membership. She builds relationships with Members to understand their needs and priorities, enabling Business West to represent and advocate for them effectively. As an enthusiastic Bristol resident for over a decade, she is passionate about making the West of England the best place to start, grow and run a business.

Katie brings a wealth of experience in corporate partnerships following her strong relationship building in the third sector. As Initiative Membership Executive, Katie works closely with our Initiative Members ensuring they are supported from the outset and experience a valuable membership journey. Katie represents the Bristol Initiative at meetings, events and roundtables, championing collaboration and ensuring our members voices are heard. After a decade of living, studying and working in Bristol, she is deeply passionate about driving positive change and fostering opportunities for the city's growth.

Sauri is a policy and public affairs specialist with experience both in-house and in consultancy. He has advised on transport, housing, and devolved politics, and most recently led communications, public affairs, and community engagement for a regional housing developer. He now heads up policy, advocacy, and engagement for the Initiative, working with politicians, officials, and businesses to tackle the issues that matter most to members – helping to make the West of England the best place to live, learn, and work.

Kathryn is a dynamic and accomplished events professional currently serving as our Membership Events Manager, where she plays a pivotal role in curating and delivering high-impact events across Bristol, Bath, Gloucestershire, and Wiltshire. In addition to her role at Business West, Kathryn sits on the Council of Management for the Bristol Junior Chamber (BJC), where she holds the position of Chair of Business and Enterprise. She has been instrumental in fostering connections among young professionals and collaborating with businesses within Bristol. Kathryn’s passion for community engagement and events is matched by her enthusiasm for the vibrant cultural life of Bristol.
