About this event
What will I learn?
- Recognise and respond appropriately to an unconscious casualty.
- Apply safe and effective techniques to assist someone who is choking.
- Refresh essential CPR skills, including chest compressions and rescue breaths.
- Build confidence in using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) during a cardiac emergency.
- Understand how to manage and control both minor and severe bleeding.
- Review current first aid best practice and emergency response procedures.
- Maintain confidence and competence in life-saving first aid skills.
- Be prepared to act quickly, safely and effectively in real-world emergency situations
Who should attend?
Individuals with a current First Aid at Work, or Emergency First Aid at Work qualification, workplace first aiders, employees responsible for health & safety at work
