Join us for an evening of celebration as we delve into the findings of our Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP) report for the West of England and North Somerset, highlight the achievements of our partners and plan next steps together.
You're invited to join the Business West LSIP team to hear more about the findings of the new 2026 West of England and North Somerset Local Skills Improvement Plan.
This event is an opportunity to celebrate what has been achieved so far through the collaborative efforts of employers, education/training providers and key stakeholders, plus share our ambitions for the future, and reaffirm our collective commitment to developing the skilled workforces our local businesses need to thrive. Our CEO, Douglas Ure, will also share his thoughts on the LSIP and the wider skills landscape.
We will also take the chance to look ahead to the next phase of delivery through our Annex of Activities. The 'Annex of Activities' represents our continued commitment to working collaboratively with partners to build on the momentum of the LSIP, driving forward innovative projects and initiatives that will strengthen our local skills system and support sustainable economic growth.
The evening will be held at Leigh Court, Bristol, with light refreshments provided, as well as a chance for networking with partners across the region.
