About this event
Network of Art is an event that combines professional networking with art exhibitions in unexpected locations! Dare you join us?
Art, business, drinks, food and good people. With a little bit of Halloween thrown in.
After two successful Network of Art events, we’re back for our third evening, bringing Swindon’s business and creative communities together.
This time we’re heading to Arclite House in Peatmoor for an evening of networking, art, food, drinks and a few Halloween surprises along the way.
Network of Art is about bringing businesses, creatives and artists together in a relaxed setting where you can actually meet people, have a conversation and discover some brilliant local talent.
And because it’s October, we’re giving this one a little Halloween twist.
There’s no need to dress up and absolutely no pressure to embrace the Halloween theme. Come as you are, or get involved if you fancy it. We’ll have a few Halloween themed surprises and competitions on the night for those who want to join in.
The artists
We’re really excited to be showcasing two talented local artists at this event.
Harrie Dearing
Harrie is an outsider artist based in Swindon and resident artist and co founder of Studio Brut. Her expressive work explores the human condition, moving between light, dark and the surreal.
For Network of Art, Harrie will be bringing along a selection of her darker work, alongside some of her handmade pieces and ritual inspired creations.
Charlotte Snipe
Charlotte is a British painter and multimedia artist based in Wiltshire. Her work spans realism, portraiture and abstract expressionism, with emotion sitting at the heart of what she creates.
Her work explores how emotion is experienced and expressed, using different materials, styles and textures to create pieces that really make you stop and look.
The evening
We’re keeping things relaxed and informal, just as Network of Art always is.
Come along, grab a drink, have some food, meet some new people, catch up with familiar faces and have a wander around the artwork.
