Chamber conversations: Frida Laszlo from Impact IT Solutions

I’m Frida Laszlo, Marketing Manager at Impact IT Solutions. My role is to help communicate who we are, what we do and, most importantly, how we can help businesses use technology more effectively. A typical day varies a lot. I might be planning a campaign, creating content for our website and social channels, supporting an upcoming event or webinar, or working with colleagues across the business to bring a new service or customer story to life.

I’m also involved in developing relationships with local organisations and business communities. This includes identifying opportunities for Impact IT Solutions to share useful knowledge, support regional events and connect with businesses facing common technology challenges. It’s a varied role, but that’s what makes it enjoyable.

What sets Impact IT Solutions apart is our focus on helping organisations get the full potential from their IT and technology stack. We bring together IT support, cyber security, compliance, AI, web development and sustainable technology solutions, giving customers access to a broad range of expertise through one trusted partner. We take the time to understand each organisation, its objectives and the challenges it faces. That means our recommendations are shaped around genuine business needs.

There is a lot happening at the moment, particularly around helping SMEs adopt AI securely and responsibly. We’re developing practical services, events and educational content that help business leaders move beyond AI experimentation to measurable business value. We’re also seeing growing demand for compliance support as organisations face increasing regulatory and customer requirements. Our Compliance as a Service (CaaS) offering provides ongoing, practical guidance to help businesses manage their obligations, strengthen governance and maintain compliance without needing to build an in-house team.

We joined Business West Chambers of Commerce in early 2025 to become more involved in the regional business community and build stronger relationships with organisations across the South West. As a Bristol business working closely with SMEs, it’s important for us to understand the challenges local organisations are facing and contribute to conversations around technology, cyber security, compliance and AI.

Being an active participant in the region’s business community and finding meaningful ways to support its continued growth is an important part of Impact IT Solutions.

We wanted to support an event that brought businesses together from across the region and created opportunities for meaningful, face-to-face conversations. Meet the Neighbours felt like a natural fit because it was centred on building connections between different business communities, Bristol Chamber of Commerce and the Somerset Chamber of Commerce. We often attend networking events organised by both communities, and therefore this was the perfect event to support.

Sponsoring the event was a very positive experience. Introducing our business to all attendees provided a natural starting point for conversations, while the merchandise and branded giveaways helped increase our visibility.

A key benefit of the sponsorship was having a few minutes to introduce Impact IT Solutions and explain what we stand for—an opportunity you don’t often get in front of a large networking group. I also particularly valued  the social media coverage before and during the event, along with the photos featuring our merchandise and banner. As Marketing Manager, I especially valued that added visibility.

I would encourage businesses to get involved and make the most of the opportunities available. Attending events is a great place to start, particularly if you want to meet organisations outside your usual network and gain a broader view of what is happening across the region.

Membership and sponsorship can help you raise your profile, but the greatest value comes from participating consistently. Be open to conversations, share your knowledge and take the time to learn
about other organisations.
